Cmon Apple! Where is your Logic!!

I love my MAC G5 Dual. It is still a powerhouse after over two years. I feel no need to get a replacement as it works just as well now as when I bought it and blows pathetic PCs out of the water. I feel no need to have the Intel Processors as the the Power PC chip is fine.

But I am starting to get annoyed with Apple. A few years back they acquired what is now know as Logic Pro 7. It is what I use to record on. While I am happy with it, much more than I was with Pro Tools it is getting frustrating because I have no idea on whether to keep investing in plugins and other things related because it is hard to tell if Apple will continue to support it.

The forums are filled with Pro users ranting for updates and fixes to bugs. Apple does not communicate with its users very well. And then I see this stupid Special Event where they are updating Garage Band! New IMAC, IPHONES, IPODS whatever......

In fact iLife 08 is causing issues for Logic users because it appears to be converting audio loops from aiff to caf! EEEEWWW!! I feel like cussing!!

I love Logic Pro 7. It kicks ass. I have not seen the bugs many have complained of but I am concerned about the future support it will get as my needs grow. Apple's silence has me thinking of jumping ship.
