Julia Guitar Psycho Work and Guitarzzzz oh and NASCAR too..

The weekend is here fast again.

Julia and I are going out tomorrow to hit probably Mt. Adams and maybe the Shadowbox. Depends on the weather and the mood. We have been going out now for about 8 months. Just before we started going out I was like whatever, what the heck I will go out with someone. I was that jaded or whatever about the whole scene. Little did I know I actually would be going out with someone I have quite a lot in common with and who would fit me in ways I never even thought possible. I had no idea that someone I would date would match the way this has ended up. I have never experienced it before. So its been more than I imagined. Anyway the last 8 months have been pretty good.

GuitarPsycho.com is taking shape in the background as I am building some improv labs. These are gonna be sweet. My only regret is that I did not have these when I was first learning. This is something I have wanted to see so I am interested in the response when they go up. I am waiting a bit to do that as I would like to have them close to complete for all the major areas at least. Next week I will start shooting some of the vids and getting the images created.

Guitarzzzz. I have been building the ole chops and they have been a bit sore. I posted my shred log to GuitarPsycho.com to track my own progress and keep me accountable because I know people are out there reading. I had a wave of people from GuitarWar.com hit it today. Anyway if I can really accomplish my goals as planned it will be of serious benefit as not anyone can be disciplined enough to do it. We'll see. I am making sure I get in 30 minutes a day on this effort leaning on the power of consistency over time commitment.

Well Monday I should have the commitment from work to go to 1st shift on 6/30. It is not exactly the way I wanted it but I will take it. I have really begun to enjoy working there as my past accomplishments are being recognized more and opening doors. I have a feeling this next position I am going to is going to stir things up pretty good for me as I will have a lot of opportunity to contribute. I will be out of the Production Support role and back in Testing where there are not many procedures in place. That spells opportunity to automate which will be a blast.

NASCAR baby!!! OK Kurt Busch, I am going to race you instead of Mark Martin in spite of the Bud Pole results!! Don't you let me down now!!!!!

Later,
Randy

Yet another blog move!

Hey all,
Probably wondering why another blog move. We'll a couple reasons. 1) The MAC iWeb stuff is not as friendly as I want it yet. I began to see how hard it would be for my mom to print it out. She does regularly so I thought it helpful to go back to a simple format. 2) Blogger allows for comments which I can review first before allowing them on my site. I missed not being able to have comments on my site. I could not control them except to turn them off at xanga. Now feel free to do so. It would be good to hear from you when you want to say something. 3) I left xanga because I was paying for premium access and I don't need that. I can do everything I need, if I need to upload files I can point to my storage at iMAC or GuitarPsycho.com. I would have gone back to xanga had they provided commenting functionality with more control.

Anyway that is enough reason. Hope all is well with everyone. I am busy but loving it. Feeling a bit like my Atlanta days with my guitar which is the way I hope to always be. Active and growing by leaps and bounds in my playing.
