Time Flies when your having fun
......or something......
Let's see.
Jeff Gordon used to be the cry baby.
Now 24 is just a rainbow warrior.
20 hes the cry baby.
But Jared from Subway keeps him happy.
Enough on NASCAR.
Recording is cool except when you dont know what your doing and you mess up your work and your backups get corrupted. Recording is more cool when you think you have lost good work to find you just did better. The song for the compilation CD to be released this year is sounding pretty rockin. Its all over the place.
Julia and I hung out tonight, watched AI. I await the UFC Thursday. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy AI sometimes but UFC is the bomb. That is MY show.
More discoveries about my playing technique (i.e. flaws) have set me back a bit but because of the setback I will be able to crush the barriers. Its pretty exciting learning the Zen of guitar through Tom Hess and with the help of his forum. I have made some friends although we have never met, we will. Just talked with a player from Grand Rapids which cool thing is near Julia's brother so I have more incentive to go up.
I have gone from being in need of guitarist friends of like mind to being absolutely surrounded by them. Its awesome.
Work is going great. Lot's of new things happening. After feeling stagnant and left on the shelf a couple years, momentum is picking up and so are some good opportunities. I am finding there are some things I am good at that I did not realize.
I am hanging in the 220s. Weight loss has slowed down. No bother, as long as it is not going up I am cool. I feel great, I am where I wanted to be when I started. I have about 15 lbs to goal and I am already skinny. When I make goal I need to set the thresholds and stick to them. Alarms need to go off so I keep the benefit of my efforts.
I am going to start running soon which is what I have been working up to. Hey its no fun when you are fat.
Peace,
Randy
