Weight Go Down Down Down.

Well I stepped on the scale at Weight Watchers again today. I am down 15.4 lbs from when I started and 10/2 averaging about 2.5 lbs a week. I am not doing anything special. Not killing myself with exercise or starving. Just made some adjustments. And I am feeling great in comparison to where I was.

Major helps:
1) Portion Control (governed by WW points system)
2) More water less Pepsi
3) More Fruit Less Chips
4) Working salads in almost daily (I have found some killer places to get salads. You would be surprised)
5) Mental emotional adjustments
6) Planning Meals Ahead!

Last night I kicked backed with a Deweys Pizza (half of one) before weighing in today. For those of you who know how much I like pizza I am not suffering here.

Anyway the last day or so I have been "feeling" like I am on a diet. So I am taking some time to remember that I am not dieting. I am adjusting. Adjusting to living and doing things that give me more energy and make me feel better overall.

To do otherwise would be like working to make myself, tired, feel like crap, drained and basically destroy my health in MANY (physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, spiritually) ways............so thinking I am dieting/suffering is a lie I need to expel or what I called above, a mental/emotional adjustment that needs to be made.

Its all good. I guess God had a purpose for discouraging gluttony. Interesting how that is defined in the dictionary. I never saw myself as one but I was.

No Blog Title, Who Cares

Man the NASCAR race was a real nail biter. Glad for the 48......hoping for a good race next week.

This weekend was the beginning of some relief for me for a bit as I am off from teaching for a couple weekends to take a much needed brak and getaway. Julia and I are headed to the Red River Gorge next weekend which I can't wait for. Its been a while since we have been able to bail on everything........

........but we won't bail on Ohio State or Jimmie Johnson. We will definately be glued for those events down in Lexington somewhere.

As for the Bengals, man what a bummer.....

Playing at Journey has been fun and the fun is increasing. The newer style I am adjusting to is making more sense. I have had to rework my approach and it is turning for the better.

Practice with Hess continues to be good.

Work is going well. Lots of things opening up there.
