This is just a place where I log things I want to remember, say things when I need to vent, share things that I am seeing, experiencing and learning in this thing we call Life.

Like a flash
Home early tonight to catch my breath for the weekend. Tommorow I teach then off to the dirt track races. Sunday I play at Journey and then its time to watch the race and then go to church in the evening.
Got my lesson plans tonight. Sweet. Start tomorrow.
Julia is nuts about Nick Lachey so I got tickets to the show. Pretty good show.
You know you are at a Nick Lachey concert when.....
- the ratio is 95% women to 3% men......you fill in the blank for the other 2%. - every time you walk in the bathroom women walk out claiming it is a unisex bathroom - who the heck farted? what have these women been eating anyway? - they scream "Who Dey" at the encore. - you hear 1000 women singing along "I am half the man I used to be"
After years of trying to do it my way with no success I decided to get some lessons to address my speed issues on guitar. I discovered the guy below, Tom Hess. What strikes me about Tom is how well he plays fast and how clean he is. How relaxed he is hits me the hardest though. From his articles that seems to be what I lack. I am to tight when I play. At least now. Thats gonna change. He also appears to be a very solid teacher. My lessons are on the way. Can't wait.
Tom Planck offered tonight to mentor me on guitar as well. Thanks Tom.
