Update

Things are going pretty well overall.....

The deadline for the compilation CD approaches. I continue to progress on a tune I have been doing.......its called "Unfold" and it is instrumental rock guitar......I abandoned my other rock tune........it just did not flow well.....it has potential but I think is going to take much more work than I have time for......so screwing around in Phrygian mode I came on the idea for Unfold....which is named as a symbol of this time in my life......it makes me laugh because it sounds like a friggin Western with Cowboys and Indians on the wild west......funny.....anyway its sounding better each run I take on it.

I am learning a TON in such a short period of time. I probably already blogged on that but its a hard fact to get over.....talk about movement......I look forward to getting past this deadline though so I can start drafting the rest of my CD. And then there are other things musically developing I can't discuss yet.

Good news is I finally talked with my foster mother.....we will be meeting Monday...Memorial Day for a chat.....can't wait....after 20 years it was like we had never been apart......I am pretty happy about that......very happy.

Anyway Julia and I are doing well....we went to Kings Island this weekend for a while....the season passes are going to get abused this year......I was talking with a friend about making a weekly night of it at the water park......I need to add more fun to my schedule......all work and no play makes Randy a dull dull boy....
