Scuba Diving

Kevin Gold and I got together tonight for a little talk on internet marketing at Starbucks but more importantly to go for our first scuba dive together. It was VERY cool. We were both a bit nervous at first to begin with, then they told us of some major precautions and we were a little more nervous but after all was said and done we both came away very comfortable knowing that if you are a thoughtful individual that scuba is a safe sport and a blast.

In 45 minutes at 10 feet I came up twice. 45 minutes went by FAST. It seemed like we were down half that time.

I could not believe how normally I could breathe under water. The instructor said that relatively speaking we were pretty calm and could easily certify. We are both thinking thats what we will do. I did not realize for fairly low cost you can go for "Review" dives to get some underwater time and to practice your skills for the cost of a night out watching the game at Applebees. Really cool. So we may take our certification training in January. Still need to decide the timing. But the newport aquarium idea is more realistic now.
